Congratulations 2015 HBA Metro award winners

On Monday, December 14, 2015, HBA Metro held our annual volunteer appreciation dinner to honor all of our amazing volunteers who support HBA Metro and make our mission a reality. It was great building relationships with so many people there and having a chance to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions. We would like to take a moment to announce some special awards that were given out that evening:

Mary SylvesterThe LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Dedication) award was presented to Mary Sylvester of Logical Design Solutions for her outstanding work on the 2015 Women’s Healthcare Innovation and Leadership Showcase (WHILS) event (on left: HBA Metro president, Gerarda Collins, and LEAD award winner, Mary Sylvester)

Vicki GuidaThe President’s Pick award was given to the Metro chapter co-directors of corporate relations, Vicki Guida from Atlas and Krista McKerracher from Novartis, for their outstanding service and commitment in taking the Corporate Partner group to a new level and developing an account management structure (on left: Gerarda Collins and one of the President’s Pick Award winners, Vicki Guida)

Denise SenaThe Beth Everett award was presented to Denise Sena for her teamwork, radical hospitality and contributions to the Metro Fit to Lead program (on right: Gerarda Collins and Beth Everett Award winner, Denise Sena)

HBA Metro also recognized all our 2015 honored volunteers (as well as those nominated) and presented HBA Step Challenge winner for overall number of steps, Nicole Charlton-Nauroth, an iTunes gift card to go with the Apple Watch she won from the HBA.

HBA Metro thanks all of its volunteers for your service and dedication to our mission. We look forward to so many wonderful initiatives in 2016.
