HBA Boston Fit to Lead: Wrapping up a successful FTL 2017 season

On 20 November, HBA Boston Fit to Lead participants gathered at Takeda Pharmaceuticals to celebrate the end of a successful FTL season. The evening was kicked off with dinner and a slideshow recap of the program, followed by inspiring stories of trials, tribulations and successes. Lessons learned through training endeavors varied from person to person, ranging from “how best to speak up in the workplace” to “how to really utilize your network” to “getting back to basics.” Stories were followed by an awards ceremony, where all FTL participants received their official 2017 Fit to Lead finisher medals. There was much discussion around planning for 2018 transformational events.

Laura Okun Burke completed her transformational event: the Spartan Sprint held in Fenway Park. FTL team members conquered many challenging obstacles and encouraged each other along the way - each vowing to enter the race again next year after crossing the finish line. Overall, this proved to be a great way to end the Fit to Lead 2017 season. Congratulations Danielle Littee, Erin DeValos, Laura Burke and Marija Taddin-Strapps for completing the Fenway Spartan.
